Many times they are not there when you answer and they do not leave a voice mail. If you call them to tell them to stop calling that number there is no one there. This is harassing and abusive and should never be allowed by law. All we should have to do is report the phone number that is calling and the number(s) it is calling to have them automatically blocked by the phone company without charge. We are already paying them far more than enough for the "press the button" service we get. They can certainly do their due vigilance and get these parasites off the phone lines. And, yes, if we were to make just one call by mistake, we will get arrested. That's because we are easy to find.
These are scams and they just stop calling from one number and start with the next cell phone. These must be those throwaway types of phones. I bet they can't be traced. Too bad some people answer, listen to the lies and give them money. Need to get smart and give them nothing but the threat of a law suit and jail.
To the people that write in these blogs "I am on the do not call list", Get a life Bob, scammers DO NOT care about a DO NOT call list, just as bank robbers don't worry about your money beng safe in the bank.
Rec'd a call a few minutes ago - I was outside and heard the phone, and of course it was these idiots with their lower interest rate scam. Shows up on caller ID as V05071843190134.
