Man w/ poor enunciation knew my name and said something about PG&E's CARE program. When I asked him if he was for real, he responded, "No, sorry" and then hung up.
Exactly. Probably same person called me. Asked to confirm if I qualify for a two year discount for PG&E. He called me twice and both times I said no and hung up.
I got the same "pg&e" call in November, he botched my name and offered the care program. I asked what I need to do, said he needs some information like my ss number. So I thought if he is legit he knows everything he needs to know, including the fact that I don't qualify. So I told him I don't need the care program. He laughed! And hung up! So not legit!!!! Now I started to get daily calls, but when I pick up it hangs up, when I call back it's a disconnected number. What gives.... They are scamming personal information out people and use it. I will call pg&e.
"California" called and left no message of course - So, "California" may you have not one, but TWO, flat tires when you get off work (aka scammer job) tonight - I'm sure you don't have TWO spare tires so your time will be wasted just like you do to all the people your computer calls on a constant basis - JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!
