Unfortunately charities are allowed under the DNCR. Because of this I believe people have set up fake organizations in a effort to get around the DNCR so the can trick people into donating.
Breast Cancer S. called from this # very early this morning (woke me) just started treatment 2 days ago. Thought it was my cancer center calling to change my appt. had only slept 2 hrs. Didn't get phone in time as machine picked up they hung up. I was so tired I didn't call back because couldn't chg my appt to earlier again. Slept another hr -jumped up went to call back and it was 413-241-3302 realized it was junk call. I don't need this crap right now. We need to STOP these kind of calls. Phone off the hook from now on. Get you Mamogram's lady's that how they caught it.
The last time we got a call from this number was two months ago. From other posts I can conclude that it is a charity scan. They started calling about a year ago. Since then the number has been blocked by our call blocker.
I have gotten about TWENTY FIVE calls from this BS 'organization' and they have been TOLD, PERSONALLY, to STOP calling, but they IGNORE that and continue to call. Number is BLOCKED but it still rings once and disturbs us; they call at least ONCE a month, and even more often at times.
Another month, another call from them. We get them AT LEAST ONCE monthly, and sometimes 2-3 times each month. No matter HOW many times we tell them "NOT TO CALL" they continue. WHERE ARE THE GOVERNMENT FINES ON THEM?
We got a call from this number on July 5, 2014, at 5:53 pm. The caller Id was BREAST CANCER S. The number is normally blocked by our call blocker but I was expecting another call and inadvertently answered. A woman asked if I was Kenneth. I replied that I was, but as soon as she said she was from the Breast Cancer Society I hung up. As I previously wrote, this is most likely a charity scam.
