Unfortunately charities are allowed under the DNCR. Because of this I believe people have set up fake organizations in a effort to get around the DNCR so the can trick people into donating.

Another dubious "breast cancer charity" calling from (or spoofing) the same area code. Probably not a coincidence.
The number of calls we get a day are becoming beyond ridiculous.
When I try to call the number back to get on the "do not call list" the call won't go through. Go figure.
The number calling is always from a 413- 241- # but the last four digits vary.
