Received call from David Green with very heavy Indian accent - could hardly understand the message. Something about Income Tax evasion. Got a similar call two days earlier 415 251-9114 from Gary Jones special agent crime investigation.

The number that called you is a magicJack number and is NOT the IRS. You should look at: http://www.news-sentinel.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar ... 995/1054/SPORTS for a warning issued by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Northern Indiana about this (by now well) known scam. The caller probably *was* from India.
Yupp. I just got a call from this Indian guy who said I had irs issues, as if the irs wouldn't just call me them selves, yeah right!! Plus last time i checked the irs office wasn't in california where this number is listed from..smdh.
I just got this call too maybe 10-15 minutes ago. Like these creeps, I'm Indian too but the only difference is I was born in the US. I'm glad this has been reported to the Feds as well. What's strange is they couldn't answer a fundamental question such as what is the amount of the unpaid taxes I have? That is the direct giveaway that this was a scam.
An Indian guy with heavy accent called from this number saying something from IRS and litigation. It was so hard to understand what he or she was saying. Definitely a scam! IRS wouldn't hire someone like this for collection. IRS is so broke need to hire someone from overseas for cost saving?
