Called asking for IT Manager. Said he wasn't allowed to talk to Help Desk, Tech Support, etc. despite calling a help line for our company. Wanted to talk to my boss so I asked for some basic information from him and he hung up on me.
415-366-5859 is IT Briefs. Have called here numerous times. Have been told we are not interested. The IT group refuse to speak to whomever it is calling. The will not take no for an answer. The only answer for these people is terminal hold. Next step here will be the FCC. .
How to annoy me:
1) Call from this number.
2) Use automated calling software so when I answer, you don't hear it and then come on the line saying "Hello?" repeatedly like I called you. Make me speak a second and third time so you're not inconvenienced by waiting for a line YOU dialed to pick up.
3) Ask for me by name, but don't identify yourself.
4) When I ask who is calling, don't identify who you represent, just say "Michelle Gordon" like that's a typical name for someone calling from the subcontinent of India. Bonus points for becoming confused by pops and clicks on the poor connection and keep randomly saying "Hello?" while I speak.
5) Force me to hang up on you at that point rather than immediately indicating you're a complete waste of my time.
recieved a call @ 3:44 PM fro "Don with IT Brief" asking for someone in IT Department.
As I'm required to take messages, asked for a call-back number; "Don" stated 'I don't have one - this is a call center".
When I informed him I could not forward the message without a call-back number, he started whining "isn't there a Supervisor I can talk to...?"
Repeated I needed a call-back number & disconnected.
At 3:47 Pm recieved another call from this number; different Guy - same request.
Repeated what I told his Buddy & disconnected.
Even if we wanted their businees, how could one call 'em back to say so?
