Called me at work. As the call came over as RECEPTIONIST, I thought it was our front desk calling me. Once I answered, the Caller ID showed this number calling. I advised I have no input of the IT dept in my company, and that the OPs dept would be best, but would not be available to take unexpected calls, from outside.
Very Rude man called wanting to speak to an IT Director. I asked who this was, what company they were with and what they were calling in regards to. He said "frankly It's none of your concern you just answer the phones" LOL yeah... I definitely had the info he needed but I guess I'm just too low and dumb to speak to. Hang up on these people.
GETTING CALL FROM 415-366-5859 ASKING FOR THE IT DEPT SAYS HE IS WITH INFO TECH
CANNOT UNDERSTAND HIS WORDS DUE TO HIS ACCENT - JUST AGREED WITH HIS QUESTIONS, ON THE 3RD QUESTION HE SAYS JUST ONE LAST QUESTION...I SAY YES... HE SAYS OK ONE MORE LAST QUESTION.....I STATE "JUST ANSWERED YOUR LAST QUESTION....HE KINDA HESITATES AND I STATE PLEASE REMOVE US FROM YOUR CALL LIST....HE HANGS UP ON ME
Four calls this morning in groups of two. They are trying to get sales prospects. As soon as the number appears on Caller ID, I disconnect. The next call gets forwarded to OUR automated customer service center.
