Got the same call about an hour ago. It would have been 6:54 am California time. Julie Smith, sounded like a robocall. Let it go to voicemail. Very intimidating sounding, and threatening. How can they get away with this?!! Not calling back.
Over the coarse of the last thirty days I have been receiving multiple phone calls from this number asking me if I have payday loans I want to consolidate. I have repeatedly, politely declined and asked that they not contact me anymore. This afternoon a man called and started asking the same question. I again politely declined and asked that he remove my number form the list. He then made an extremely vulgar statement to me and hung up. I called back several times before he stopped hanging up. I told him that I would the California State Attorney's office and the FTC. While I cannot understand his broken English well enough to understand the name of his company, I do find, by searching the phone number online, that I am certainly not the first person to have this type of problem with him.
