Got the same call about an hour ago. It would have been 6:54 am California time. Julie Smith, sounded like a robocall. Let it go to voicemail. Very intimidating sounding, and threatening. How can they get away with this?!! Not calling back.

why can't the phone company disconnect the line based on fraud? Where is the DA on this?
Just to chime in to add my voice to the group. Returned home to a vmail from the mysterious officer Julie Smith of the IRS with the same exact message as everyone else. I urge everyone to spend a moment to report all these calls on donotcall.gov The more reports from the same number the higher the chances of action against whoever is doing this. Tracking and prosecuting these scammers is like whack-a-mole. It troubles me that clearly it works or they would go away.
