By calling the POLICE (I hope NOT 911). What would you being saying to them (as to the nature of your call)?
"aaahhh, Hello, POLICE DEPT:......
It’s almost midnight and I just now got a phone call from someone (i.e. a solicitor)trying to sell me a newspaper subscription from the SF Chronicle and I want to make a complaint because they shouldn't be calling people this late at night." etc, etc...
By calling the police, it would fall into the same category as to this story:
LIKE THE RECORDING OF A PERSON WHO HAD CALLED 911 because....
there was a spider in there house and the person calling, feared spiders, and they were afraid it was going to bite them and wanted the spider out of there house.....
Got a call from these jerks last night on my home phone and tonight from a different number 650-489-4932) on my home phone and cell phone at exactly the same time. I filed a complaint at the FCC web site and everyone else should as well. If there are enough complaints the FCC will go after these jerks.
Got another one of these on my cell phone. These poor excuse for human waste continue to call. At least on my home phone I can block their calls but can't on the cell. Once again I'll file another complaint with FCC until these waste-of-air jerks get a clue. I hope they get fined big-time for this crap.
