By calling the POLICE (I hope NOT 911). What would you being saying to them (as to the nature of your call)?
"aaahhh, Hello, POLICE DEPT:......
It’s almost midnight and I just now got a phone call from someone (i.e. a solicitor)trying to sell me a newspaper subscription from the SF Chronicle and I want to make a complaint because they shouldn't be calling people this late at night." etc, etc...
By calling the police, it would fall into the same category as to this story:
LIKE THE RECORDING OF A PERSON WHO HAD CALLED 911 because....
there was a spider in there house and the person calling, feared spiders, and they were afraid it was going to bite them and wanted the spider out of there house.....
This unknown number keeps calling every night, never leave a message and their line is always busy... but it keeps calling every night, unwanted. It has been noticed that the same number calls the other cell phones and it is always the same story. Please, do something about it. Thank you!
Got 3 calls from this number. No answer when I returned the called and voice mail is full. I left a message asking who they are? Did a search by calling 411 found out they are in Belvedere, Tiburon which is in California. I did a search online but did not get a result. Now I know I'm not the only one then I will ignore this call. Must be some type of telemarketer.
