By calling the POLICE (I hope NOT 911). What would you being saying to them (as to the nature of your call)?
"aaahhh, Hello, POLICE DEPT:......
It’s almost midnight and I just now got a phone call from someone (i.e. a solicitor)trying to sell me a newspaper subscription from the SF Chronicle and I want to make a complaint because they shouldn't be calling people this late at night." etc, etc...
By calling the police, it would fall into the same category as to this story:
LIKE THE RECORDING OF A PERSON WHO HAD CALLED 911 because....
there was a spider in there house and the person calling, feared spiders, and they were afraid it was going to bite them and wanted the spider out of there house.....
I have been getting calls twice a day from them at 6pm(pacific) for at least 2 weeks now... after 1 week of never answering, I answered and nobody was there... but the calls continued!!!
called me 2x within 10 min off each other. i pickedup the call on the 2nd call. it was a telemarketing company calling to give me a free sunday newspaper for the san francisco chronicle.
