They asked if I wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate and I asked them to put me on their Do Not Call List. They abruptly hung up.
I called back and chose option #2 to put me on their automated Do Not Call list.
"CARD SERVICES" on Caller ID. Called December 26, THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS and left a rambling, nonsensical message on the machine. We were out of town.
These SCUMBAGS have called HUNDREDS of times and even though at FIRST we answered and 'argued' with them and TOLD THEM NOT TO CALL, then we REGISTERED *ALL* our numbers with the DNC List - and BLOCKED as many of their DAILY CHANGING numbers as we could before we GAVE UP and JUST IGNORED their calls - they continue almost daily.
I hope the apocolypse happens for ALL the people who work in these places, but ESPECIALLY the owners of these SCUMBAG CALL CENTERS.
Caller ID shows Telemarketer. Maybe they're trying for an honest approach, Yea right!!! Left no message as usual.
If everyone else here says it's Card Services, I would believe that, as Rachel and her friends have been calling for years from various locations around the country. Caller ID normally shows Card Services or a V with a dozen or so digits following it. ie.V27376474847474. This call like the call before it originated form Nevada, MO. That # appeared on Caller ID as V12281134400072 and phone # (417) 800-2333. Very similar to this #.
I have now got 5 different numbers from this company since I got my new phones. Have more on old ones. Have already filed complainants and they won't do nothing about it. Say's these people are hard to track down. I just think that they just don't want to do thier job. What the h**l is the do not call list good for if they don't do anything about it. My number is unlisted also. So this is a robotic calling system. You know they had to get there phone number from somewhere. They just can't pull it out of thin air. Should be easy to trace. You can dial *57 on phone and have a trace put on it. I think it cost $5. After you get call. Hang up. Then pick up and listen for dial tone and dial *57. This will put a trace on it so your local police can track it.
