They asked if I wanted to reduce my credit card interest rate and I asked them to put me on their Do Not Call List. They abruptly hung up.
I called back and chose option #2 to put me on their automated Do Not Call list.
I get those calls too. As soon as I ask which CC they are calling about they hang up. I wish there was someplace we could report those 'scam' calls to get them stopped. HEY, maybe Obama's 'no warrant' phone taps will stop some of that. Unless of course its the feds doing it.
The card services folks are very reputable and kindly as you can see from reading all the posts about them. I'm sure they would be happy to remove your name from their calling list if you asked them politely.
