Receive many phone calls from 1-417-800-2511 asking for Japanese male 18 or above to participate in a studies. My number is unlisted and registered with the 'do-not-call' list. The rep on the phone was unable to clarify how they get my number.
Doesn't matter if it is telemarketer, charity, politician etc.. Most people (myself included) on the DNC registry DO NOT want to be bothered by ANY of these people. None of them are exempt to me.
When they start paying my phone bill, maybe we will talk.
Yes it does matter...and whether you consider them exempt or not, until the law is changed, charity, political, and many others are legally exempt and can call you whether you like it or not. Until you tell them to cease. Better do it in writing or it's their word against yours.
