Receive many phone calls from 1-417-800-2511 asking for Japanese male 18 or above to participate in a studies. My number is unlisted and registered with the 'do-not-call' list. The rep on the phone was unable to clarify how they get my number.
I've been getting a call from these people too, I've asked them to take my phone number off their calling list and they haven't so I'm going to report them to the FCC too.
I don't think it is, either. Another waste of tax payer money creating a pretend agency. But, they actually do not promise to prosecute anyone or even to protect anyone. All they do is list your info if you register, and the only ones who honor your wishes are honest people/companies. That means the ones who never call you.
