answered this one today (it has called before). male knew my last name. when I asked who he was, he hung up. using caller id, I called number and a recorded message referred me to www.securestech.net (or at least this is what it sounded like). there is no where on thi swebsite to complain about calls. the site is connected to correctional facilities. baffling and annoying.
Calls for donations to the troopers association but several highway patrols say they are not a participant in this collection of donations and to be careful of contributing because they funds do not go where the jerks says. Calls quite often even when told not to.
Our call was for contributions to the highway patrol fund but working in law enforcement, I know it is a scam where no money goes for law enforcement officers and no one should contribute.
I got a call from this same company at work-they called the nurse's station at a large hospital looking for a person (don't remember the name). Now I get a similar call at home, but when I call back I get the "correctional facility" recording and a website. Won't go there!
