answered this one today (it has called before). male knew my last name. when I asked who he was, he hung up. using caller id, I called number and a recorded message referred me to www.securestech.net (or at least this is what it sounded like). there is no where on thi swebsite to complain about calls. the site is connected to correctional facilities. baffling and annoying.
I found Jan's message to be more helpful than your's. You offered nothing while she offered information on a great phone. I appreciate that kind of information as we're all fighting these scammers and phones are the first line of defense.
Received another call from 1-423-328-1807. CID was 'Johnson City TN'. I had already blocked that number so the phone's caller ID lit up but no ring. I love it when these scammers waste a call when their number is blocked.
Once again a call from 423-328-1807 did not pick-up,but they keep calling! Called them back get answering service saying they are a secure correcting billing and if you need a account they will call back !
Hung up after 3 rings. I called number back and it rang once and hung up
Called again and nothing. How can we stop these calls. So much worse since switched to Verizon with such. Not sure if more of them...other numbers too or more with Verizon than ever had with Sprint..any thoughts about more with one carrier than another?
