Male with heavy accent called me this morning saying he was from Microsoft and needed to help me with my computer because I have a virus so I told him I'm not interested and hung up. Couple of hours later he calls back and tells me its urgent that I get to my computer so he can assist me, I asked how he got my information and he wouldn't answer however he does have my number, first and last name so I asked him for the company's number that I will call them back to help me because I can't confirm who he was and I would not be giving him any information until I get the number to call the company myself and he kept saying its urgent and he needs to help me so I told him if its that urgent why is he wasting time and not giving me the number I needed to call and get the help supposedly I needed and he disconnected on and hasn't called since.... be aware people and don't give out your information...
I have gotten seven missed phone calls in two hours from this number. When I finally answered, an Indian-sounding woman knew my name and where I live. Very disconcerting. I insisted that she told me who I was speaking to and what business she had calling me so much, then she hung up. Messed up!
I've been getting calls from the 0000000000 and 469 - 286-9841 number about 25+ times a day. Guy said that I received $7000 grant from US government that I do not have to repay. I did not have time to listen for details. Sounds like large room with people talking in background. sounds like they are using skype to make the calls. Scam.. Scam.. scam.. scam... P**s off with them.
