Male with heavy accent called me this morning saying he was from Microsoft and needed to help me with my computer because I have a virus so I told him I'm not interested and hung up. Couple of hours later he calls back and tells me its urgent that I get to my computer so he can assist me, I asked how he got my information and he wouldn't answer however he does have my number, first and last name so I asked him for the company's number that I will call them back to help me because I can't confirm who he was and I would not be giving him any information until I get the number to call the company myself and he kept saying its urgent and he needs to help me so I told him if its that urgent why is he wasting time and not giving me the number I needed to call and get the help supposedly I needed and he disconnected on and hasn't called since.... be aware people and don't give out your information...
got a call from this number and a 000-000-0000...im assuming this is a scam a si didn't answer, i checked it out first, glad i did...im so tired of these scams yesterday a guy called me said he was an attorney and i was being arrested for not paying application fees on a loan and that they would settle out of court and i had two hoiurs to go thsi location near my home and pay $219 when i said i couldn' get there i was at work of course i was scared and really upset he said they were taking the illegal route. I found out this is an Idian based employee call center thats under investigation. how are these ppl not being shut down. Is this fair to scam hard working ppl out of there money I was terrified that police were supposivly coming to my work place to arrest me and they were going to tell my employer what i had done....i didn't do anything which was the crazy thing.beaware 323-786-1484 and the last 4 digits can and will change they say there attorney Mark johnson, when i pressed him for mroe info he just said we will take this the llegal route and hugn up. when i called back and asked what attorney ansers his own phone he hung up also and late they called me and said [***] [***] [***] cause i found out there scam. and ABC is did a segment on them.
Called every five minutes for a week. (That's literally every five minutes, not figurative.) Claimed to be FBI, Department of Treasury, a payday loan company, and the police investigating my internet browsing habits. FUN FACT: He stops calling real quick if you answer each call with a new song about plowing his mother. Texting him dirty haiku and the phrase "Your mom loves my [***]" thirty to forty times a minute for an hour straight also works. Then he threw a hissy fit and started screaming "[***]" into the phone and I was all like "Duh, that's what all those songs were about." Long story short, never screw with a man who has unlimited texting and too much free time.
