When I get any calls I dont want, I just get them to pick up the call and say * This is the phoenix police Dept * or pick any police dept and say how may I help you. It tends to scare them off from calling again. Makes me feel better any ways LOL
This number shows disconnected YET it is still calling??? several times over credit card and now over wanting to put a FREE SIGN in my yard warning about a burglar alarm. ID says unknown. My phone number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER, but it doesn't do any good. calls keep coming in from many. Recently the ID showed a neighbors number as calling but it was a telemarket call. SPOOFING CALLER ID.

5th time in two days I have received a call from this number. The first 4 I did not answer, I answered the 5th.
An automated message starts advising that crime rates are rising in my area, press 1 to speak to an operator to claim my free of charge in home wireless security system that will be monitored free of charge by my local EMS.
I pressed '1' to see if I could get removed from the list.
A snotty immature voice answers asking me if I own or rent my home, and for my name and address.
I replied that I was responding to a call about crime rates rising in my area, and would like to be removed from this calling list.
He replied "It's 'cause you livin' in tha' ghetto man, that's why you crime rates goin' up dude." In a voice attempting to imitate a TV show gangster or something similar.
I asked if this was a sales call, and if it is I would like to be permanently removed from the call list.
He replied, "This ain't no sales call"
I asked, "Then what is it?"
About 10 seconds of silence and heavy breathing from him, I said "hello?" and he disconnected the call.
