When I get any calls I dont want, I just get them to pick up the call and say * This is the phoenix police Dept * or pick any police dept and say how may I help you. It tends to scare them off from calling again. Makes me feel better any ways LOL
This 501-321-4569 number called me today. I hung up immediately and did not say a word. What I did do, however, was take the information from my caller id and then went to the Do Not Call Registry (https://complaints.donotcall.gov) and filed a complaint. It is free and it works if people actually use it! I encourage EVERYONE to start "Officially" complaining. While posting complaints here is nice, it won't get anything done.
Please always wait for a human, and ask them to "Please put me on your do not call list". Then take the few minutes to fill out a complaint with: https://complaints.donotcall.gov
This is the best we can do.
I have been trying to get these people to stop calling me. When I ask them to please not call, they hang up on me. Reporting all these phony numbers to the complaints at do not call.
