We have been receiving call from these slugs all year. We don't answer since the caller ID shows that the number is private. So they leave messages on our voice mail asking for someone who we don't know stating that a case number is coming up and its urgent that they speak with this person AND if this is the wrong number please call and notify us.
I decided to stop them from calling us. So I called. What I got was an obvious attempt to collect information about me from some punk with a lot of attitude. I told them nothing except for the case# (The same number they told me to use so that they could identify me if we called.)and that the person in question does not live with us.
IF this was any legitimate business that case number should have told them everything they needed to know.
Yeah, we received two calls from this guy in the last week. Each time he calls he leaves a message on the machine asking for my father in law. The first time he said his name was David Westwood and he needed a statement regarding a case against our county. The second time he called he said his name was Bruce Maguire. My husband actually talked to him the second time and told him he would report him to the FCC. It was definitely the same voice and the same guy. We have no idea who he is or what he wants but I would definitely say he is trying to scam something or someone here. Watch out for this number!
17 Oct 2007 "Steven Green" called from 508-553-1900, which caller ID said it was from Franklin MA, he called looking for my ex stating that he needed a statement from my ex regarding a legal matter in a county in Ohio. He also gave a 866 553 1950 as a return number.
I received a message on my answering machine at 6:44 P.M. Jan 17th. I'm going to quote as much of the message as I can and I'm going to call myself Susan. Susan Smith.
"Ya, good afternoon this message is for Susan Smith. Susan, this is Ron Bates calling CR Systems. Look Susan, I was asked to give you a call regarding a personal situation of yours. I just had your paperwork placed on my desk this afternoon and I'm just getting around to giving you a call now. Look, it's extremely important Susan you give me a call back as soon a you get this message. My number is 508- 553- 1911 and again Susan, it's Ron Bates and it's regarding a personal situation. I apologize, I really can't tell you why I'm calling over your machine it's just it's personal, so call me back as soon a you get the message, and again that number is 508-553-nineteen eleven."
The caller ID said Debt Management 1-508-553-1900. Not 1911.
