The caller from CR Systems, Kim Young, was polite. However, the conversation seemed peculiar and was similar to many other conversations recorded here. She searched relatives of my mother and somehow found my telephone number. I actually am not sure if Young knew my name though. She kept stressing that I get her message and number (508) 553-1906 to my mother and that this was a personal matter that may become legal.
Yep. My mother received a call from Ron Bates today saying it was something personal. He was very persistent she said, and after she hung up on him he called back immediately, insisting she give him information. That is harrassement. I have no idea what this is about though, and now I'm afraid to call back to see if I have some old, outstanding bill.
"Scott Ames" called my house today, (left message on answering machine) Apologized for bothering me. Asked me to get a message to Amanda Xxxx at (address down the street 2 blocks away). Said he was supposed to receive a call back from her this morning and had not. Very important; couldn't explain the nature of the call. Callback number 1-866-553-1950 x321. Caller ID on phone showd Capital Recovery 508-699-2745. This is another of those blood-sucking bill collectors who will not STOP CALLING once they get your name.
i wrote to the consurmer affairs department and this is the info i received.
