These folks have been calling our home for over a year, wanting to do a survey. They do not take "No"for an answer, when they are told that we do not do surveys over the phone. They state that they are not selling anything and only want to know about smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and other information about how prepared everyone is in case of an emergency. The internet has suggested a way to get people to leave you alone, but I never had to use it before: The suggestion is just to take the phone off the hook and leave it off for as long as it takes. They have to pay for the call and may not like the bill you rack up!
The rest of you were lucky my caller asked for homeowner I think (thick accent), when I asked them to repeat it I got a series of f-u's .... very scarey.
