this is the first call. I told the Indian accented man that I do not do surveys for anyone. He said someone would call back every minute until I did his survey. Am waiting for call two. Do we have any recourse via the phone company and threats over the phone?
I call from this number was registered on my telephone. Caller ID read: Globes. I do not answer phone calls from numbers I don't recognize. Still, IT IS an annoyance. I cleaned up my ID Caller today: there were calls from about 30 different numbers from all over the country. All scams.
I believe we, decent citizens, should have the right to have the identity and address of these malicious callers disclosed, so we could take real action against them. Not only call back and press a number in hopes of being removed from their f***ing lists.
Wow. Looks like whoever is doing this is a real piece of work. Can't understand who has the time on their hands to harrass so many people and what they possible stand to gain in the process. We've been getting the calls for over a year. The Caller ID changes but the 'survey' remains the same. Yesterday, a lady named 'Lynn' with a thick accent said she was calling from Safeguard America, and started in with the whole 'survey' thing. I told her what I always tell them-not going to participate in the 'survey' and to quit calling. She yelled at me saying, "I will report you!" So strange. I wish there was some recourse for this.
