They have called us daily for a year now , we keep asking for their boss repeatedly and they hang up, we called the number back today and it said press 1 to be placed on a do not call list maybe that will work time will tell. If you really want to blow off some steam harass them back, air horns to the ear and just yelling , or leaving the phone off the hook is fun too.
We've had same problem with caller - GLOBES on caller ID. The guy has no life if he's harrassing so many people. We called our phone carrier AT&T who told us all we could do was block the number (which is a service in our plan). We did and we recently had difficulty with our phones so took off the block and within 24 hrs the guy called! He's been told to take us off the call list (and we're on the no-call already), that we would file a law suit, we hang up on him, let it go into voice mail (but he doesn't leave a message). The guy's a menace and I'm surprised there's no legal support to put the freak in jail with no phone privileges.
My story is the same as everyone else's. He called, asked if I was Mrs. ____, to which I replied "Who is calling?" He kept asking if I was her, or a family member, and I kept asking who was calling. I finally told him that he called- he should know who he called, and would he please answer my question since I asked it so many times, to which he replied, "who the f%#k are you?!" I hung up, but next time I will be sure to just set the phone down and go about my business in order to rack up charges for them. Does anyone here know if there is any sort of harassment charge you could implement, or if there is any action to be taken? It seems kind of wrong for someone to call you and shout profanities with no recourse. I am sure I would get in trouble somehow if I did it.
It may not be your company's phone number, but if someone tells the person answering the phone they represent your company, we have no way of knowing. Please don't make accusations that people are out to harm your company by putting in the information they received from the caller. Thank you.
