I just got a call too from the same number. Caller ID said Globes. I could barely understand the guy. As b. said "thick accent". But I swear he said he was calling from South America. He didn't ASK me if I wanted to take a survey. He just started with his first question, "You have working smoke detectors in your home, yes?" I immediately thought this is one of those scams that has you simply answer yes or no so they can record it and use it against you without your knowledge. Then when you try to fight whatever it is, they have a recording of you stating that you agreed. So then you don't have a battle. I just said I wasn't doing this and hung up on him. If he calls again, I'll do like I do to all other annoying calls I get. I'll just hit the Talk button immediately followed by the End button. I don't even give them a chance to speak.
I just received a call from this # - didn't answer because I didn't recognize it on caller ID. No message was left. After reading all these comments, it probably won't be the last time they try. FYI, call was back to being ID'd as Homeland.
My family has recieved daily calls from a telemarketing sales persons for homeland, after asking them to stop calling, and then to be put on the do not call list . The calls have continued, the last male caller called me a STUPID [***] !!!!! we await the next call whats next.????????? CU#T.?
