They have called me every day, some times twice a day for over 6 months. It is a travel business that tried scaming me about 3 or 4 years ago. I was on the national DO NOT CALL LIST & turned their number into them, which was then a different number. they got a hefty fine & never heard back from them again till 6 months ago. Time to turn them in once again!
My story is identicle. My wife and I purchased about 4 yras ago and didnt go. Now thew they call me every year asking for 99.00 to extend it. I said no and now they call me every week a couple times a week. In fact got 2 calls from them today and thats why looked it up on the internet to see what i could find. Last year i told the lady on the phone i would do it if they could send me some form of contract or documentation detailing the promotion before i gave my credit card. She refused so I refused to give her my card number on the phone and she got nasty with me and told me she was doing me a favor because of the money I wasted 4 years ago. I told her that may be so but I am still not giving you my card number over the phone without assurances and I hung up on her. Now i've been getting the calls regularly since and I try to ignore them. AT&T wants to charge me a monthly service fee to block the number!!!!! i'm irritated!
Tracker's reply was perfect!!! I also purchased a package from Summer Bay Resorts which went unused, and I've been getting the calls going on 3 months at a rate of 2-3 times a day... Extremely aggravating, and AT&T couldn't block it without me paying $5 extra dollars a month for the service. I just called summer bay, and got them to remove me from their list. They even admitted that it was one of their automatic systems trying to sell me an additional package.
Those call are from Summer Bay Resort. I called them at 1-800-654-6102 to ask to retrieve my name from their list. They transferred me to the right service, and I hope, my name and phone number will be retrieve whithin 1 month.
