I received a call from this number. It showed up as out of area. The man on the other line claimed it was my lucky day and that I had a $500 credit for a hotel stay in FL. I figured he wanted me to buy something and when I wouldn't answer his question and kept interrupting him and asking him what he wanted he became frustrated and hung on me. Lucky Me!
I think we ALL ought to call THEIR number at least once a day. If they answer, listen for a bit - breathe heavy so they know you are there - then HANG up!!!
get calls from 551-111-1111 as well, same issues as reported in the blog here, no answer, insessant nearly once a day frequency. also did business with Summer Bay resorts a couple years ago. I also refused to complete my package. I have called my carrier for support.
I called the phone number mentioned by Tracker (Phone: 352-242-1100) I was transferred to this lady who I has asked to be removed from the call list, she told me "I don't know how to do that."
I replied,"WELL CAN YOU TRANSFER ME TO SOMEONE WHO CAN?"
I was then transferred to a man who answers the phone "Can I have your phone number?"
"No you may not." Explained my predicament.
He was like, "WELL, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO ADD YOU TO THE LIST IF YOU DO NOT GIVE ME THE NUMBER?"
I then proceeded to give the phone number and he said he would add it to the do-not-call list for customer service but it would take care of sales as well.
We will see, if this continues I will press charges against the company. Its not a good idea to mess with the wife of a police officer!
