Just received one call just now and IT hung up on me. I have been receiving these calls for months now. If I let the answering machine pick up the IT says nothing for 30 seconds (+). Caller ID just says New Jersey 551-111-1111.
Just answered a phone call from these guys to get more information about half an hour ago. I acted a little interested so I could find out who these guys were and what was going on. The guy told me that he was from Special T Travel, that I could get a choice of one of seventeen different vacations, and that the number to get ahold of THEM was 866-416-1261. The price was 798, but I got a 500 dollar discount, so I would be paying 198. I told him I would have to talk to my wife first, and he said he would see what he could do to save the "discount" past today.
Then, all of a sudden, I was talking to some other guy, who asked me if I could see myself using the vacation in the next two years. I was explaining that I wasn't sure, I am too busy right now with school and such, and realized he had hung up on me.
Looking up Special T Travel online, I found one poorly constructed website promoting the company, and then a BUNCH of scam sites with people complaining about their horrible experiences in dealing with the company.
Looking at their website, it looks like they've got different contact information than what I was given. Their website is http://www.special-t-travel.com/ .

This 551-111-1111 number calls me everyday sometimes twice a day. No one talks when I answer and they never leave a message. Reading prior post on this number, say most of these calls have to do with a travel agency. I have never used a travel agency, so I know that information does not apply to me. These calls are annoying and happen at all hours of the day or night.
I get a call from this number every single day and have for several months now. It says it's a NJ number and they are calling regarding a FL vacation that I purchased several years ago. I have not purchased a FL vacation. This is very annoying and I can't get them to stop calling me.
