I have been receiving calls asking for some spanish sur-name.
I have perfect credit. I have repeatedly asked them to stop calling my number.
All you on here making complaints about this company. Come this Monday
morning I intend to call my states Consumer Protection Agency, State Attorney
General's office as well as the better business bureau.
I spoke to my attorney this morning and am meeting her at her office Tuesday afternoon.
I intend to do more than just complain.
On another note, this agency ( American Credit 570-706-8800) after I snapped at them
that I was not and did not know the person whom they were calling for, then tried to sell me
a secured credit card. I', on both the Federal and State do not call lists.
REPEAT--THIS COMPANY WITH THE NUMBER OF 570-706-8800 IS AMERICAN CREDIT AND
IS NOT PENN FOSTER.
After several days of numerous phone calls, that respond with a recording telling you the name of the person they are trying to reach, and if you don't answer they leave unintelligible messages. I called 570.706.8800 and an operator answered with "hello" only, I then asked the name of the company; she said American Credit.
