My call on 4/30/15 was a pre recorded female voice saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me. It gave another phone number to call, I didn't get a pen in time. I plan on reporting this to the IRS. My caller ID only said New York.
Received a call from a man (Indian accent) who told me he was calling as Windows Tech Services because they were receiving warnings from my pc. I started to ask me to push control key and other ones then I told him I didn't trust him and that I wasn't interested. Told him goodbye and hung up.
I got the exact same thing..... Something about my computer and just hung up. There is a fraud division called phone busters. Google it and report the number. It only takes a few minutes and will help the eldery people from being scammed.
Received 2 phone calls within minutes of each other strong 'east indian accent' Jamie Smith claiming that there was a problem with my Windows computer, that he was an employee of Microsoft to turn it on right away, there were viruses. I didn't believe him thanked him but i was not interested in his assistance. He than called back under another phone number and when my husband repeated that he was an employee of Microsoft and he didn't believe him, he started swearing...........
