Who called from 6077399798

They just called me today.  I've been through this before.  It is a scam.  I played dumb and kept them on the phone for over 45 minutes, without actually clicking anything on the computer.  Finally, I couldn't help laughing and asked him if he ever lost sleep over ripping people off.  He said "firetruck you" and hung up.  CRTC in Canada recently charged these guys in India and won, but they can't do anything except seize any Canadian assets they may own.  What we really need is an international DO NOT CALL system that countries can opt into.  Then if India opted in these guys would get in trouble.

I got a call from that number tonight here in Australia. The person on the line was male and had an Indian accent. He claimed to represent a financial advisory firm and wanted to send me information on buying futures or shares in oil companies etc.

Very annoyed that they knew my name and number...

Im from CZ and got also a call from this number. till now about 6x...Never answered...

Hey, this scam never seems to die.... just keeps a calling and calling.  Wish there was some way to stop such folks from being such a nuisance.  The more folks have "fun" with these jokers ... the better.  Still haven't figured out, who it is that falls for such nonsense (and keeps the scammers running their scams).  We don't tend to ever answer the phone when unknown numbers call through ... but it still doesn't even slow down the endless flow of calls.
