Out of every collection agency I've had to deal with, University of Phoenix has been by far, the most aggressive bill collector of anyone. They make Wells Fargo, Amex, Sears and Discover look like play toys. UoP is determined to collect every single penny.

I GOT A VOICEMAIL ON MY CELL PHONE FROM A JAN WHO CLAIMED SHE WAS REPRESENTING THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE ABOUT A MATTER THAT SHE WAS GOING TO MAKE A FINAL DECISION ON TODAY AND THEN FORWARD IT TO "SPECIAL COUNSEL." SO I CALLED BACK AND SOMEONE ANSWERED THE PHONE BY SAYING "RELIENT, HOW CAN I DIRECT YOUR CALL?" I TOLD THEM EXT. 110 CALLED ME. HE FORWARDED ME TO JAN AND SHE CLAIMED THAT SHE WAS TRYING TO COLLECT ALMOST $3000 ON BEHALF OF MIAMI UNIVERSITY. I TOLD HER THAT I WAS MAKING PAYMENTS ALREADY AND THAT EVEN MY OHIO INCOME TAX RETURN WAS BEING WITHHELD DUE TO THIS AND SHE CLAIMED SHE HAD NO RECORD OF THIS AND THAT IF I DIDNT AT LEAST MAKE A DOWNPAYMENT OF $750 THEN MY WAGES WOULD BE GARNISHED. i TOLD THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO DO AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I WAS ELIGBLE FOR MY DOWNPAYMENT TO BE WAIVED BUT I WOULD STILL HAVE TO PAY $275 TODAY. I TOLD HER I WOULD GET BACK WITH HER BECAUSE I HAD A SUCPICION THAT IT WASNT LEGITIMATE. SO I CALLED BACK AND ASKED IF THIS WAS THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE AND THEY REPEATED THE SAME THING, "RCS..." SO I REFUSE TO WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE. ISN'T FALSELY CLAIMING YOURSELF AS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY ILLEGAL?
i attented uop i finished my first semester then i got into my second one and i did an assinment in critical thincking i gave my democratic view from that point on the teacher acted as if i didnt exist she would not help me at all and was rude then tried to get me to have to take the whole class again i work 12 hour days and barelly have the time to be screw around by them so i quit i am now paying the bank but this number has called everyday for a month and they also call my work telling me i have a case against me they are rude and very nasty
