The thing is, I might be your imaginary friend, haha my name is Christine and these people say they have been attempting to contact me and I have been ignoring them (not true) I havent gotten ANY mail or calls!! I got a message from this # today. They said they had a complaint that had been filed against me and this was the second attempt they made to reach me. First off, I've never received a dang thing from RCS. I am aware of their company because I am a collector myself, a legal collector at that. I'm at the end of the line, where if you don't pay, we're suing you.... These guys appear to have a ton of FDCPA violations, and if I get another call from them, I'm filing a complaint against them for FDCPA violations. This is just insane.
They can not even legally call you until they have mailed an official collection notice stating your rights and giving you the option to tell them to [***] (dispute the claim).
I get calls from this number all the time. I went to the UOP and they totally screwed me. They claimed they sent my loan back to the lender and that I now owe them $2800. When I called them the guy was totally rude with me and they are refusing to release my official transcript until I pay them.
