So when each time they call me. It was a man that keeps saying hello hello. Then a women saying hello hello about 7 times in a voice mail. If it was chase they would be leaving a msg for the person they are tying to reach. And because they are not, and all they say is hello hello. This you don't need a brain to know this is fake.
Well from the comments, i see they claim to be from chase. Well i dont know of any business that calls on a weekend, i wouldnt doubt its a type of scam. Left no messages, called twice within a couple of hours. No business has ever done that to me either. Hmm, i have read that scammers can find out if you have a balance that needs to be paid and will claim to be the collecters as well. If they dont leave a message its a red flag for me and a no call back.
Returned the call, they said it was Chase. I know the name of the last person who had this phone number and they gave me that name as the person they were seeking to contact. I told them that was not me and they removed me from the call list. They did not try to farm ss# or any info from me. Seemed legit.
