said my computer was hacked and he was calling from Windows operating system. wanted me to turn on my computer it was on I told him i wasn't near it and i'd call him back.. asked his name and number said name was Eric Watson, and gave me the about phone number. guy with a thick indian accent,
Have had the same problem as all of the above. Strongly accented female. Speaking slowly from written interview notes.
Was told that my computer was sending out error messages and did I know that. I told her that I didnt believe her and that this was a scam and put the phone down.
Same guy, thick indian accent calls me multiple times a week. The first time he said he was from Windows insurance so i was confused like "why do i need insurance for my windows?" And hung up. Yesterday he called saying Windows computers and i said "i don't own a computer" he said "whyyyyyy" i said "because i have a phone" he kept saying "but whyyyy". I've told him to take me off the list and everything. He just keeps calling.
Called today at 1:54 pm. answered w Hello and left silent. Sounded as though my voice was being recorded so I said nothing. Then auto prompt said goodbye and call disconnected called back on landline and number is disconnected.
