Same thing, got a call at 12:am got me out of bed. I said do you know what time it is? He says , yes mam but ths is very important ...etc. I asked for his number and name, James.
This is a number given to me by someone that called me few minutes ago with an Indian accent saying they are from Microsoft Window Operating System and that my computer has been hacked and they need me to be in front of my computer to follow their instructions.
Apparently this scam still going on in 2016. Phone # shows up and only name is the city, listed as Tehachapi, CA. I let it ring over to v/m and they hung up. Glad I looked this up, and will block it, if not see if they call again in few days and play with them. Several blogs list this # the same, as a scam, saying with Windows to fix your computer. A couple of comments actually say they ask that you give 300.00, so they apparently are trying to get you out of money up front, as well as hack into your computer. I don't understand how a few of them say the caller even ID'd their type of computer.???
Haha this guy he called me cause of my computer and then I told him that everything was okay and he said that I have a maleware or virus and then me and my brother trolled him and ask him where Microsoft is located he said California and then we're like what part and then hung up hah this guy trying to hack people computer
