Received exact same message, but said sheriff would make arrest. Sheriffs do not enforce federal tax law. IRS agents do. It's BS. Foreign accent didn't help. Fourth grade reader didn't help.
Well look at it like this folks, we will have a lot of good company if the IRS really issues arrest warrants. For me, I'm not going to worry too much until the sheriff shows up.
Jason O'Connor called me today too! Also got a call on the 11th from an automated message with a call back number of 703-828-0618, same scam.....think I'll go bake some cookies for the Sheriff County Office when they come to take me away.
