Received exact same message, but said sheriff would make arrest. Sheriffs do not enforce federal tax law. IRS agents do. It's BS. Foreign accent didn't help. Fourth grade reader didn't help.
Had a message from Jason OConner that didn't sound Irish to me. I'll just say Hi to my daughter the deputy or my nephew the city cop when they come to arrest me. These guys are real predators and unfortunately it is usually the elderly that fall victim.

Received a call from 703-542-1721 claiming to be Jason O'conner from the IRS tax audit dept. saying there is a lawsuit with my name concerning tax evasion. Asking I call to avoid the sheriff appearing with a warrant for my arrest. 2 calls in 2 days.
