Seems to be a scam, they called my office threatening civil suit action against an employee of mine stating he would be served at work if he didnt respone.
This is such an old and tired SCAM. Straight out of the ghetto. The only annoying part is that they will call and bother your family members as well. It is extortion and they leave hilarious voicemails that they are going to serve you at your place of work in an attempt to have you panic at the thought of being served at work, which NEVER, EVER happen cause this is a SCAM!
They threatened to serve me, and garnish wages. When I asked them to take me off their call list, the women on the other end just got loud and obnoxious and said she wasn't gonna take me off their list and that she would see me in court.
Got a call today from this number..revived vm with recording..called and Spoke with Robert Morton who was rude and advised me of a civil suit if I didn't pay for a small interest loan from Canyon Creek in 2011. I said I never took out a loan with them and never heard of them. Then he said it was $670 from overdraft fees from writing bad checks from the payday loans!! He had my old address, old bank account number and last four of Ssn. After talking with my attorney, I called back and gave her info. He refused to talk to her and said they would take me to court. He was hesitate when asked for company name and said it's NEA Litigation...never heard of them either!!!
