I have been receiving the same calls daily, telling me that I need to call TODAY, me or my lawyer to resolve a matter where my personal information has been compromised. Some of the calls are from an area 45 mins away from where I live in Arkansas, and the others are from Alabama, Colorado, and Tennessee with the SAME voice robotic recording, pretty much demanding you to make contact.
Let them know the next time they call they are violating the FDCPA and TCPA by intentionally harassing a non-debtor and you will take legal action against them if the calls do not stop.
Carla, I had calls like yours. It came on my cell phone(T-mobile). I was surprised because not many people knew my number. I first was upset so have my friend to call back 708-983-7973 with her cell phone. She got through no problem. She had asked that man where is 708 area code, he said somewhere in Texas( I forgot the name) and kept asking case number but my friend didn't give it. And a few days later they called again. This person left her name COURTNEY HILLARD. I'm sure she made up.I checked credit report and bank account and they are all find. I told my HR and they all are laughing.We have got to get rid of these criminals !
!! . When my friend asked the name of the company he said that it's Brundson( could be Brunson) Associates.
get call also 7089837973 it say is the same as most say. This has happened in the past Fraud charges and stuff. they never do what they say, r, all spam junk calls.
I just got the same call! A recording telling me that there will 2 charges filed against me in my county for fraudulent activity related to my SS and name. Really!?!? I need to call 708-983-7973 to take care of the matter before charges are filed, even left a case #. Call back the number, you just get a busy signal. Very startling, but then you realize its just a SCAM!!!
got message for someone other than me saying that I had 2 charges against me for fraud too!!!!!!!!!They even knew people's names I know but I am not the person who's name they gave and that person has never lived in my county..When I asked how they got this number and why they are calling me they said they must have gotten it from paperwork.....scarey!!!!!!!!How are they getting family and friends names and numbers!!
