I have been receiving the same calls daily, telling me that I need to call TODAY, me or my lawyer to resolve a matter where my personal information has been compromised. Some of the calls are from an area 45 mins away from where I live in Arkansas, and the others are from Alabama, Colorado, and Tennessee with the SAME voice robotic recording, pretty much demanding you to make contact.
I have gotten the same scripted message on my voice has above. They are looking for my husband. I have know idea what they are taking about. Knowing my husband this is very untrue. He doesn't write checks, do not have any credit cards and not a tech type of person. My husband have me to look over everything he does even his benefits at work. So fraudulent activity is highly unlikely for him, plus she sister works at our bank so he has her always checking our account when something doesn't look right.
Got a call on my cell telling me I owed $407 for a loan from 2007. I asked to send me the proof of what the loan was for and my signature. I don't do loans. They did reference my ex wife and a friend, which I never use as reference. They refused to provide me with information. If I owe I will pay but if you can't provide me with proof I made a loan, then I am not paying. Nothing has been on my credit for this supposedly unpaid bill. Got a second call at my grandparents home (both 85) upsetting them with fraud charges and the recording said they were going to take me to court and put me in jail unless I paid today. NO way to contact to find out what it is or get anyone to cooperate. How come I have never received mail or a call other than this threatening call before now?
They keep calling my grandfathers number for my husband and he never even uses my family information and they say he has credit card fraud and they are going to summon him.
Got two calls from this number that left me a voicemail. The message started with the robot voice saying someone else's name and then stating there were two pending charges of fraud. Definitely a scam if you ask me.
these people keep calling looking for a Robin Shumake i have told them that i know no such person but the calls continue to come at 8:00 am every morning, what can i do about these harrassing calls? can a suit be filed against this number and or company? they have been calling my number for a year or better, enough is enough
