Received the same call as Technology Fails Us today. Exact same words and before I called this rude indignant person back, I thought I better google the number as my identity has been compromised before. I thought the same thing, I don't owe anyone and surely if I did have outstanding balances it would be handled civilly. Better yet my husband works for the Gov't and I'm reporting this number.
I have no idea how they get our numbers. I love screwing with these people so I called her back yet again and asked "Which of the three credit bureaus are you from?", she hung up on me.
Same thing some lady left a message saying it was the credit bureau & final notice even though I never got a first one. She said they were filing a law suit & I WOULD be arrested either at work or home. Then she said see you in court. The call was from California, I live in Wisconsin. I just laughed. What a joke.

Same message just left on my phone with the Santa Ana... folks please do not fall for this. No one will ever make those threats that are a true collection agency. You would never be arrested at your place of employment etc. etc... delete, delete, delete.
