Received the same call as Technology Fails Us today. Exact same words and before I called this rude indignant person back, I thought I better google the number as my identity has been compromised before. I thought the same thing, I don't owe anyone and surely if I did have outstanding balances it would be handled civilly. Better yet my husband works for the Gov't and I'm reporting this number.
Got a voice mail on my home phone:
This is a final notice from Credit Bureau. We are filing a lawsuit against you and you will be getting arrested either from your home or from your work place. If you need any further information you can reach me at 714-2774030. See you in the court house.
