just got a call from the 716-923-7405 number. The lady was very polite but did not identify herself. Stated someone with my last name had used me as a reference. I didnt know the person. She gave me the name of his business. What she didnt know is I live in a "one horse" town and I know all the businesses. This one doesnt exist. She was still polite and stated she would have to call the guy back to confirm.
Caller said he was a lawyer looking for [insert different first name, same last name] wanted for a legal matter. I told him I was not related. He said my name and SSN were attached to this person from a search.
When I called this number back, it is always busy.
This number called my house yesturday, and today. Says their a Law Firm.
Doesn't say what Firm. They have the ssn, but spouse's is different, and have only been married once, and to the same person. BOTH TIMES THESE PEOPLE CALL THEY ARE RUDE, UGLY, AND MAKE UNWANTED REMARKS.
They called our house the night before last. Say they are a law firm. they were very aggressive looking for information about my husband's ex-wife. They were rude and threatened to subpeona us. I cannot get anything but a busy signal when I call back. They also called my in-laws with the same harrassing attitude.
They called my home at about noon. They asked for me by my first name only. Then they said they were looking for a woman I had never heard of before. He said he was a paralegal and said this woman had listed me as relative. I asked him what last name did he have mine listed as and he told me my correct last name. I then told him he was correct but that I did not know the woman he was looking for. He said wow, like he was bewildered that she had listed me as a relative and then hung up. He was never threatning or rude at anytime during the phone call.
