Hi everyone - I just got a call from this number but didn't answer and they didn't leave a msg. Looks like they're being busy today given the other reports from about an hour ago. Maybe they're at a loose end so thought they'd bother some folks for fun...
Just received a call from that number. I get calls from telemarketers and scam artists all the time on my cell. I changed my voice message greeting to an automated announcement for a Caribbean cruise survey they can take to win a free cruise to the Bahama's. When an unrecognized number calls, I do not answer an let it go to my voicemail greeting and the survey announcement. Strangely, none of the callers take the survey to win an "all expense paid" cruise. LOL
Just received a call from a PA number this morning. Because I have accounts with CC and banks based in PA, I answered. A recording stating that this was my credit card company calling to offer me a lower rate on my (unspecified) credit card, I entertained the call. After pressing 1 to be connected, a woman who appeared to have difficulty hearing me after I said hello around 3 times advised me that due to my great track record managing my card, I was eligible for a 6 and 1/2 percent APR. When I asked her which card she was referring to, she stuttered something that sounded like either Bank of America or Citi bank. When I explained to her that I owned neither card not did I need any additional cards, she hung up.
