Sure they will. Why? Because every time you make any payment whatsoever or say or do anything to acknowledge the debt, the statute of limitations on suing for the debt gets restarted. Unless you have an intention of paying off the debt in the short run, do not make any payment and say nothing that could be interpreted as your agreement that the debt exists.

I have tried doing as you suggest, they don't consider that an attempt and have actually sent it back to me. I am on SSD right now and don't bring in enough to cover household bills let alone pay on old medical bills, which is what mine are. Don't get all smug about that. I get my internet due to a roommate paying the bill. I am not collecting a check off you, I paid into the system when I worked prior to getting cancer. Some of us are truly disabled so stop thinking you know everything asshat. One day you may need help because of a disability or injury...
LOL LOL LOL. This is a Macys/Comenity Bank and Khols Collection Company. This stupid guys call me 20 times a day, just for 3 days late payment on my credit card. The best way for this guys don't call you is, after asnwer the call, just let him know, I'M RECORDING THIS CALL, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, and after this, the guy will said I CAN'T and I said , YES I CAN. and he hangup the phone and never call me back. LOL
