Sure they will. Why? Because every time you make any payment whatsoever or say or do anything to acknowledge the debt, the statute of limitations on suing for the debt gets restarted. Unless you have an intention of paying off the debt in the short run, do not make any payment and say nothing that could be interpreted as your agreement that the debt exists.
I'd like to reply to you myself Mr big shot collector. Being 61 I can tell you I paid my bills all my life until I couldn't anymore and the people who couldn't care less are the ones that jacked up the interest as fast as I tried to pay my debt down. You sound young and that's why it's always nice to know karma will come around your way some day and you'll fell the same about collectors. You see big shot, some people have been paying their bills all their life and the longer you live the hard life knocks you down until it either takes you out of the game with sickness or death. Then some young punk like you calls who thinks he's a big shot working man making his mark on life when in fact, their looking for a free lunch on some poor slobs misfortune. They sit there like you with your stupid opinion that people can pull money out of their butt so you or your scumbag company can collect your chump change. (free lunch). What you call going to work everyday for someone like you is really sitting on your [***] kicking someone when their down. Try asking some of your older relative's during your next holiday gathering how they feel about you being a collector yourself. If their honest they will ask you why you want to sit on your butt and throw your good life away after bad money begging people who could be to sick to pay or just plain losers who won't pay to help you earn an income. Go ask your boss if it's worth it next time some old lady's crying cause you want her to pay and she can't. See collector you have to look in he mirror everyday and decide if you want to kick people or kick [***]. I've wasted enough time on you so I'll end with your bosses answer to why do we do this and is it worth it, they will say they don't do it, they hire morons like you to do it.

I'm not on SSI but old enough to get the social security I paid into for 47 years in two months and it's going to be tough to live on and I worked Aerospace half my life and retired from the MGM in Vegas the other half and I wouldn't even bother with SS if I had all the money my government stole out of my pay check for decades.
